Iyengar Yoga is distinguished from other forms of yoga by careful attention to precision of alignment, the use of props (straps, blocks, bolsters) and specific sequencing and timing of asanas (poses) and pranayamas (breath work). Students are able to practice at their own level with no risk of injury.
